The following are some examples generated from MathematiX and its Graphic window (Arena).
When using MathematiX software, it is possible to present dynamic examples and demonstrations, as well as to experience or explore mathematical concepts and functions.

Points in the plane

You can draw points by creating them directly in the arena (in which case the points' coordinates are added to the points window) or by typing.

Demonstrate, study, and explore the meaning and usage of points on a coordinated plane.

Translating geometric figures

Translate (move) drawn points and segments to create translated geometric shapes.

Demonstrate, study, and explore the meaning and usage of translating points and geometric shapes on a plane.

Symmetry

Draw points and a geometric shape (triangular, etc.).
Create reflected points and symmetric geometric shapes on the plane.
Study symmetry through the y-axis, through the x-axis, through the Origin or through any given straight line.

Demonstrate, study, and explore the concepts, meaning and usage of symmetry on a quantitative scaled plane.

Segments, Lines and Chords

Draw Segment on a plan or between points to create a geometric shape using the Segment tool.
Draw a number of segments from one point using the Chord tool.
Draw a straight Line or a number of straight Lines using the Line tool.
The functions of the Segments, Lines and Chords can be added to the Function window if desired.

Demonstrate, study, and explore the meaning and usage of different straight lines.

Parallels and Normals

Draw Parallels to a given drawn line using the Parallel tool. The corresponding equations will be added to the Functions window.
Similarly, draw perpendiculars to any straight line at any desired location using the
Normal tool.

Demonstrate, study, and explore the meaning and usage of a Parallel or a Normal.
